This restaurant is hugely overrated. What's it with the queues to get in only to find and be served a standard fare of sea food which you'll find at any sea food magoodmaris?
Awesome! Amazing service! Highly recommend.
Had an absolutely amazing meal here. The staff were really helpful with the menu and it's super organised when waiting for a table. The seafood was absolutely incredible and unlike anything I've eaten before.Five stars.
MoreWonderful place with excellent seafood and steak sandwich - lemon sorbet (with vodka) for dessert! Very rude German couple near us but the waiter handled it with such grace and patience - he deserves a huge raise! Five star!
MoreCan’t imagine a better place to eat seafood. Can’t miss it s anytime I travel to Lisbon. Simply Fantastic.
MoreBest seafood I’ve tried in Lisbon. The tiger shrimp is a must and even just the bread they serve with oil and garlic is amazing.
MoreOverpriced/rude personnel always seeking confrontation!! If being treated like garbage is your thing you will love this place!
MoreExcellent food, efficient service. I recommend
Really good seafood! The best in Lisbon! Order the clams, shrimps and edible crab. The service is fantastic. I will definitely come back.
MoreWonderful experience - excellent sea food at decent prices. Quick service
Great typical Portuguese seafood place in the heart of Lisbon. Unfortunately it has become so popular that’s always very hard to find a table and the restaurant is also always very crowded inside. There are some great alternatives which have much less demand and the quality difference is almost none.
MoreTotally impressed with the choice of seafood here. We ate barnacles, edible crab, clams and shrimps with garlic. It was really amazing. Service was very efficient and good. It is a very touristic place though and waiting could be long. We went there around 18:30 and didn’t have to wait.
MoreBest seafood in Lisbon! Inside maybe not the most romantic seating, but the outside area is lovely. Anyway, wherever you are seated the food is great!
MoreFor the sake of freshly prepared seafood, it was worth coming here. The menu is limited to this. There are no side dishes or salads. Served well and fast. I recommend for lovers to eat seafood.
MoreIf you like sea food you will love this place.Ticks all the boxes.Must go if you are in Portugal.
MoreIt was okay. Fun to say I went there but I didn’t feel the love. It was more of a slam bang. The large scampi looked in incredible but I found them dry. The clams in garlic was delish but it was more about dipping the bread in the delicious sauce. I was not wowed. It the prices I should be.
MoreVery good place. I'll go back anytime
Excellent food. Authentic restaurant with delicious and tasteful dishes. Sometimes there are long waiting lines but trust me , it is worth the wait.
MoreI have never eaten so much absolutely incredible seafood, I think I ordered the whole menu and I ate every bite. Then I ordered desert. I wish I lived there this would be a restaurant I would eat at with exceptional frequency.
MoreBest meal we had while in Lisbon! Seafood was fresh, reasonably priced, service was super efficient and friendly. Kudos to Marco our waiter who gave us great recommendations!
MoreBest seafood I have ever had. Everything we tried there was amazing.. Service was excellent... We stayed in Lissabon fir three days only - and decided ti dine there twice.. Can't wait to come back and eat there again. As a tipp, don't miss scampis in garlic and sorbet with vodka! If you're there you have to try it! Even Prego was better there than any other place in Lissabon we tried prego at... This place is real 5 stars!
MoreVery nice and fresh seafood. There is always a long queue, which is evident that the food is great. The service is pretty good and the waiters and folks could understand English very well. They are friendly and attentive. I dropped my knife and by the time I picked it up from the floor, the waiter already noticed it and passed me a clean knife. I had a good experience. The food is not very expensive too.
MoreFirst to the location: you think you are slowly getting to the periphery but it is not bad. Then to waiting times: If you don't necessarily go there in the last second, the waiting time is still reasonable. We only waited 15 minutes. Finally to the offer: This is a real madness! My wife and I enjoyed our meal so much. Everyone who visits the city has to eat here at least once.
MoreGreat vibe and good food, only one meat dish which is limiting for no fish eaters.
MoreOne of the best seafood restaurants, I have ever been to... Awwsome
Probably the only time you will get a table here without waiting in a massive queue. Timless place and delicious seafood! Body temperature now being tested upon entry.
MoreThe best fish restaurant in the city. Garlic butter shrimp and oyster were just delicious. The prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend to come to this restaurant at 12 pm, so that you don’t wait in line.
MoreExcellent food, good respectful service. We loved it loved it loved it!!!!!
What an incredible meal!! Highly suggest getting their buttered bread, it was beyond delicious. We ordered the scarlet shrimp, king prawns, clams, and the king crab with dip. Words cant express how delicious this meal was, you just have to see for yourself ! Definitely would come back and try everything else on the menu.
MoreDo you love seafood? Is your definition of great food “the highest quality ingredients prepared in a straightforward way”? Would you rather pay for the food quality than the service or atmosphere, as long as both service and atmosphere are executed well? Then Ramiro might rank among the very best restaurants in the world for your tastes and mine.
MoreNice food, almost solely specialized in clamps and oysters. Don’t expect codfish or other fish. The food was delicious, although if you go on a rush hour, you might feel that you need to hurry and finish your dinner fast, so that the next people can squeeze in. Huge queue outside around 19.00p.m on a Monday. All in all it’s an excellent place to dine.
MoreShrimp in garlic sauce is incredible. We also had lobster here - very fresh, not inexpensive (of course) but a good place to have it. There can be waits but it's worth it, and it's a "take a number" system that is sensitive to language differences, so the machine will call your number in your language (which is a neat touch). Waiters are helpful and clearly work very hard in a crowded space. It was one of the 2 or so restaurant highlights of our week in Portugal!
MoreMy favorite restaurant in Lisbon, really enjoyed it a lot! Impressed by the products’ spectacular quality and the fair price! Stuff were very attentive, definitely will come back if revisit Lisbon👍🏻
MoreLove this place! I've been to this restaurant every time I've been to Lisbon and it does not disappoint. The oysters and the crab with the meat all shredded up is always an amazing choice and I've never been disappointed.
MoreSeafood and experience was excellent, never been to that kind of communal sitting restaurant. Cool to talk, eat and drink with different people from the world. Delicious!
MoreOne of the classics of Lisbon. Always great to come back. Familiar service, beer while you wait, great seafood and awesome steak sandwich to end the perfect meal. You can't go wrong with Ramiro.
MoreWe went there for lunch, right when they opened at Noon (which I would suggest doing because there was already a line forming) but as soon as the restaurant opened, we were seated and given a menu. The waiter helped us order what we wanted and the food came out very quickly. It was absolutely delicious! Beware, the menu prices are based on weight by kilo so we weren’t sure how expensive the bill was going to be but it turned out very reasonable and we had a delicious lunch! I would highly recommend! Get a beer from the dispenser outside because it’s fun :)
MoreEverything we ordered was delicious. You share the table with other people so we got to met a nice group of people. Food and company was very good. Memorable experience!
MoreI love to shopping in mini preco because everything available at one roof nice variety of grocery i suggest to everyone if you want to take groceries mini preco is the best
MoreA seafood heaven.. mind blowing shrimps and clams.. the perfect combination of garlic & butter with the shrimps make it mouth watering
More5 stars ....but they deserve 10.Awesome seafood, excellent service and affordable price. There is a small queue, but it's worth it.Great experience. Highly recommended.
MoreI came on a weekday around 2pm so there weren’t any lines but the restaurant was still pretty full! I ordered a half bottle of wine, clams in garlic sauce, and a king crab (Yes this is in fact a portion for 2!!). The service was quick and the food tasted very fresh. Huge serving of maybe 25 mini clams and the crab was gigantic! I had some to take home. The final came out to about 45€
MoreGreat seafood. The prices are good for the kind of food you get.It is always very busy here. You will have to take a number and wait in the queue. While you wait in the queue you can already get beer in the "self tap beer vending machine".We had a full crab, tiger shrimps and clams. All very good and fresh.Be prepared to be placed at a table with other people. You might not like that but the food is worth it. And who knows, maybe you make new friends. We will definitely come back if we are in Lisbon.
MoreIt was good- bread and seafood exactly as everyone says. Clams with garlic were the best of what we ordered. Prepared crab was too much, too rich and no variety for two people. But no side dishes, and expensive... As you can’t predict how much dishes will be, it’s hard to determine how much to order. For the price you can get a wonderful (probably Michelin star!!) rounded *meal* elsewhere.
MoreWhat an awesome seafood restaurant in Lisbon. Quick, efficient and quality service. Waiters will explain each dish. Prawns are out of this world. And really gigantic. All dishes priced by weight, but in terms of cost and experience, well worth it.
MoreAvoid swarms of tourists and come here!Perfect seafood restaurant for large groups, couples, families, and single diners (such as myself). The multi-level floor plan confirms the high demand of their fresh and delicious food. At your table, you use a tablet to view the menu in your choice of language. The crab and tiger prawns were flavorful with the applied butter and herbs in addition to the grill. I drink my first glass of Verde vinho here - I absolutely loved it
MoreSuperb seafood place.Had clams with Garlic, spider crab, the other crab, and steak sandwich to finish. Plus loads of Beer. All excellent quality, really fresh and good quality. Got insanely busy, felt sorry for the staff a bit as constant rushing around! They were very friendly and certainly appreciated my enthusiasm for the food!
MoreBest Prego in the city! The seafood is also amazing. The service is always great and super friendly. The place can look fancy and pricey but it is not so fancy and the price is worth it.
MoreFantastic, fresh seafood with cheap beers. Really excellent for lunch. Good variety of crabs, shrimps, shellfish, and fish. You really must try the whole shrimp (I forgot to take a picture) but they're served whole in their shells, steamed.
MoreAuthentic. Traditional. Superb seafood.I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy this place. I had read reviews which say it is noisy with people talking loudly and hammering away at the crab legs. The food was exceptional. Our waiter was welcoming, experienced, friendly, and helpful. He gave us good advice on what to order. The red prawns were exceptional, and the meat sandwich we shared at the end of the meal was delicious. This is hands on food. Peasant food. Expect to get messy as you hammer away at your crab. You will never get better seafood.
MoreVery very expensive. Food was good but you're paying for the reputation.
